Cellist & Entrepreneur

Ariana is a cellist, teacher, and lover of the arts. Primarily based in the DC area, she is the cellist of the Manchester String Quartet, principal cellist of the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, and runs the program Chamber Music Adventures. She is an avid proponent of new music and loves experimenting with different styles, including improvisation and folk music. Ariana grew up in Seattle, WA surrounded by a musical family and started playing chamber music when she was eight years old. When she isn’t performing or teaching, you can find her doing yoga, hiking, or doing comic impersonations.
